Does my business need a logo?

Absolutely! Many small business owners are hesitant to have a logo designed because of the high cost associated with designing them. Beanhead Graphics believes in giving you the most for you money. Projects are reasonably priced, and you are able to choose from several custom design concepts. You can be assured that your company will be given a strong foundation to build a successful identity.

What is Vector Format and why is it important?

Vector graphics (also called vector shapes or vector objects) are made up of lines and curves defined by mathematical objects called vectors, unlike other formats called raster images, that are defined by pixels. Vector images can be resized to any scale without losing any image quality and they maintain crisp edges when printed. As a result, vector graphics are the best choice for artwork, such as logos, that will be used at various sizes and in various media.
Raster Formats
include: BMP, JPEG, GIF, and PNG. Raster images are best for printing photographs and other continuous tone images.

What makes your designs a better value?

Most do-it-yourself logo design companies want you to believe that you can create a custom logo for under $99. Sounds pretty good, right? BUT, when you actually sign up, you find out that you can only choose from a library of clip art, standard text, and limited colors. That's hardly custom! Further more you can't even overlap images, text, merge letters with images, create one of a kind text, or add any special effects for the web. On top of all that you are stuck with that one version of your logo, which makes it hard to use for various purposes.

Every logo designed by Beanhead Graphics

1. Will work in various media
2. Will work well big and small
3. Will work in full color and one color
4. Will be able to be used as a watermark

Real designers use professional software like Adobe: Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver to create one of a kind designs. Don't be fooled by quick and easy do-it-yourself schemes. After all, you want a design that has been carefully thought out, designed for flexibility, and reflects your company proudly.

How does the design process work?

1. Submit a project request form and send any relevant project files to info@beanheadgraphics.com.
2. You will receive a price quote, which if you accept, you agree to pre-pay half of design fees.
3.After pre-payment is received, you will be given several design concepts to choose from, and be able to revise them as many times as necessary.
4. When a final design has been chosen and paid for, you will receive the final files along with a transfer of ownership certificate granting you 100% of the rights to the final designs.

Why do I have to pre-pay before I see my design concepts?

With today's technology, it is only too easy for you to keep the first design concept without paying. Doing so would be essentially stealing the designer's intellectual property. A practice that is illegal, but also very common and hard to prevent. Clients are required to pre-pay half of design fees as a form of insurance.

What should I include in the project details when requesting a project?

1. Media (Web, Multimedia, Print, Animation, Television, etc.)
2. Size (make sure to include the dimensions for print projects)
3. Style (Corporate, Playful, Simple & Clean, etc.)
4. Colors (Logos are usually no more than 3 colors)
5.
Content (text that will appear in the design)
6. Anything else you think would help the designer. (Company Tagline, Background Info, etc.)

What if I want to include my own images in the design?

Accepted file formats include: JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, (AI, SVG, PDF, TIFF, and PSD files at 300ppi are recommeded for best results). You can also send any files that you want included in your project as an e-mail attachment to info@beanheadgraphics.com. You will retain all rights to files that are submitted to Beanhead Graphics.

Where can I find high quality images?
